QD3 | Quat Dilution & Monitoring
The first product in this series, the Q3, was developed to simplify the ongoing assessment of the solution along with a clear visual indicator of the general status of the solution and alert when it is time to further check and refresh the solution. Setting the solution in place correctly from the outset, however, is fundamental, and that is the role of the QD3.

COMPACT
The QD3 system is a battery powered compact device that positioned on the side of three compartment sinks (wash/rinse/sanitize) and doses with sanitizer chemistry, assesses the level of quat in solution, and cycles until the target ppm is attained. And, importantly, the QD3 does not connect to the water supply, so no plumbing connections are required.

​HANDS-FREE, INTUITIVE
QD3 turns on automatically when placed into water and runs a dosing cycle with a single button press. Upon cycle start, the system doses according to the sink volume, assesses the level of quat in the solution, doses a small amount if required and cycles assessing concentration.
With the target concentration attained, a bright green TARGET light illuminates. If the level of quat detected is higher or lower than the target range, red lights illuminate for OVER or UNDER, respectively.
QD3 cycles automatically running a solution assessment every three minutes and illuminates the appropriate status lights for five seconds. This cycle continues until four hours have elapsed and then the system flashes all lights until the solution is refreshed to keep within recommended guidelines.

The benefit of the QD3 comes from helping to ensure that sanitizing solutions are correct – neither too high nor too low, and that the solution is refreshed in a timely manner.
